a fascinating exhibition of textiles used in all manner of artful and decorative ways. This is their fourth exhibition in St. Mary's Church Thirsk. Refreshments and light lunches will be served in the crypt on bank holiday Monday.

8th MayOrgan duettists recital
Renowned organ duettists, fellows of the Royal College of Organists, Maureen McAllister and Robin Jackson, will perform a programme of classical and popular organ duets. They played last year and donated generously to the Organ Restoration Fund. They will have the benefit of playing on the newly refurbished Console at St. Mary's church Thirsk from 7.30pm

There will be a display of banners from Mothers' Union branches from all parts of the Archdeaconry of Cleveland. As well as more modern banners there will be some of great historic interest.This is the first time that St. Mary's Church Thirsk has hosted this exhibition.
